Origin:

Bred by Frank Bart Schuurman (New Zealand, before 1991).
Introduced in New Zealand by Riverland Nurseries, Ltd. in 1991 as 'Little Pearl'.

Class:

Miniature, Patio.

Bloom:

Light pink. Soft salmon or coral pink. Mild fragrance. 40 petals. Average diameter 1.5". Small, full (26-40 petals) bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.

Habit:

Few or no prickles/thorns, upright. Small, glossy, dark green foliage.

Height: 20" to 28" (50 to 70cm).

Growing:

USDA zone 6b through 9b (default). Can be used for exhibition.

Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).

Parentage:

Innocent × Firefly (miniature, McGredy 1980)

Notes:

Finegand Nursery says this rose has pearly pink blossoms of perfect form...
Little Pearl was removed from the Auckland Regional Botanic Gardens (ARBG) Display Trial because its trial period expired.
