Origin:
Bred by Alexander (Sandy) Dickson III (1893-1975) (United Kingdom, 1944).
Introduced in United States by Jackson & Perkins Co. (Newark, NY) in 1944 as 'Prima Donna'.
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1949 as 'Prima Donna'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Salmon-pink, buff shading.  Mild fragrance.  up to 45 petals.  Average diameter 5".  Very large, very full (41+ petals), high-centered bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Pointed buds.  
Habit:
Upright.  Glossy foliage.  

Height: 3' (90cm).  Width: 30" (75cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer.  Vigorous.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
