Book (1943) Page(s) 14. R. Marion Hatton. The World's New Roses. H. R. Jacobs, a New Jersey amateur, crossed 'Crimson Glory' and 'Ami Quinard' and named the result Fire Chief. I have not seen it but friends who have praise the flame-red blooms highly and I want to see it this season. Bobbink and Atkins introduced it.
