J. G. Glassford (HT.) (H. Dickson) Very vigorous, free-branching growth, immense depth of petals; buds long and pointed, opening to flowers of great weight and substance, with high pointed centre. Colour, clear deep crimson lake, without shading, a clear, solid colour, which does not fade, and which is quite unique in Roses. Gold medal, R.H.S. (Ireland); gold medal, Scottish Rose Society. 4/- each.
