J. G. GLASSFORD (Hugh Dickson).-  Fl. rouge grenat foncé sans autre nuance, ne violaçant pas; extra, grande à pétales recourbés, de longue garde. Bouton long et pointu à centre élevé. Arbuste très vigoureux se ramifient bien, variété d'un coloris riche et unique qui sera très appréciée comme rose des jardins, a obtenu deux médailles d'or.

Colour, clear deep crimson lake, without shading, a clear, solid colour, which does not fade, and which is quite unique in Roses. Gold medal, R.H.S. (Ireland); gold medal, Scottish Rose Society. 4/- each.
