Bred by Joseph Pernet-Ducher (France, before 1929).
Introduced in France by Jean-Marie Gaujard in 1929 as 'Rudolph Valentino'.
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1932 as 'Rudolph Valentino'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Coral-red, copper shading, golden-yellow undertones, golden-yellow reverse.  Moderate fragrance.  Very large, full (26-40 petals) bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
