In his 2007 Nursery Catalogue, Bob Matthews writes that the registration name for this rose is "Mattcan". Two "T"'s

Yes, that would be consistent with his other roses.

Matthews Nurseries' description of this rose (website): "Pointed buds opening creamy white, displayed to perfection above the deep green foliage-compact growth to about 1m. Named for the Wellington (NZ) Cathedral of St Paul, consecrated in 1852."
