Purchased as band from Vintage, Sep 2011.
Oct 2012- growth has been rather slow, blooms have been little. Still young yet.
August 2013- A tidy 2.5x2.5 bush, cut back and potted for our upcoming move. I can't wait to plant this one in the new garden! One of my favorites.
3/24/2014 - Planted in new garden. Had quite a bit of dieback from winter (nearly everything did), so it is pretty small. 18 inches tall or so.
8/2014- blooming more now, has grown to two feet tall.
9/22/2015- Beautiful plant. Has grown to about 3x3 and is a bloom machine. I so love this rose (and the bees love it too).
4/17/2018- Still about the same size. 3x3, maybe a little more.
5/23/2019- my plant is having a bit of an off year. Nothing seems to really be wrong, and yet foliage is pretty thin and it isn't blooming much. Plants near it are all fine. Mystery.
6/2020- 3.5 x 3.5 I don't prune this one other than dead wood. It's not particularly vigorous, I guess, but it blooms and stays a manageable size, so what's to complain about?
2/26/2021- Took a very heavy hit in Winter Storm Uri. We got down to about 15 degrees, only about an inch of snow, and stayed below freezing for five days. I lightly scratched a few branches, but no green. Yikes. I'd really hate to lose this one.
4/1/2022- One caned wonder. I don't know if it will survive.
1/18/2023- died back to the ground (again) after december arctic blast
4/23/2024- Current size is about 2 x 2. Spring flush was one flower. Two arctic blasts really took a toll on my little plant.
