If you have a themed border of orange and yellow... this rose fades to peaches and cream...the foliage is richly dark and glossy but prone to blackspot where I am,
…. best kept to a pot I think...

I love stripy roses! The only trouble is that it gets black spot badly.

I have grown this rose before, and I did not care for it. It has a very strange growth habit as it's not technically a climber, but it has these long, arching canes. You can't really cut the flowers because they are on short stems off the canes. The canes flop over into other bushes. If you want a striped rose, especially one that's good in the garden amongst other "normal" bushes and that you can cut flowers from, then look elsewhere. I'm a bit surprised this bush is still as popular as it seems to be and is still offered from Weeks.

This rose is very thorny so the 'thornless' description is inaccurate.
