Dear esteemed members,
Does anybody know if the rose distributed in Argentina, Chile and Uruguay as ‘Salmon Ange’ is the same than the HT ‘Bel Ange’ (aka ‘Belle Epoque’/ ‘Rosa Stern’, Louis Lens,1962)?. I once read in the ARS register (2012) it was sited as “Salmon Ange, HT, op”; but cannot find more information. Furthermore, both HTs are sold in Buenos Aires as different -but quite similar-roses.
Thanks in advance for your reply, Mariano

I don't know what is sold in those countries, but have you considered the two salmon-ish sports of 'Bel Ange': 'Angel Girl', 1973, U.S. 'Colin's Salmon, 1970, Australia

Hi Patricia! I have been checking out both sports and Colin's Salmon seems to be quite a good option! I wonder why it is sold in South America as 'Salmon Ange' and still appears this way in the American Rose Society. I would love to grow the three plants all together to compare. thank you once again for your contribution :)
