Introduced in South Africa by Ludwig's Roses in 2002 as 'Playmate'.

Floribunda, Shrub.  

Orange-pink.  Mild to strong fragrance.  Average diameter 1.75".  Medium, semi-double (9-16 petals), cluster-flowered, in large clusters bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  

Medium, bushy.  Small, glossy, medium green foliage.  

Height: 2' to 39" (60 to 100cm).  

USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Can be used for beds and borders, container rose or garden.  Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant.  Remove spent blooms to encourage re-bloom.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.  

Ludwigs Roses says that a lot of effort has gone into developing this rose for children with the aim of encouraging them to begin caring for and contributing to their environment -- while having fun at the same time.
