Clementina Cionini married Francesco Carbonieri (1886-1960), a wealthy citizen of Modena and a passionate cultivator of plants, in 1910. They lived in an XVIIIth century villa surrounded by a large park at Magreta, Formigine, near Modena (courtesy of Cà Berta).
Francesco Carbonieri's photos of Clementina from 1908 onwards were shown at the exhibition "La Belle Époque nell’obiettivo di un amatore" in Modena (November 19, 2011 - January 29, 2012). A catalogue of this exhibition was published.
