Light pink, light yellow shading. Strong, sweet fragrance. Large, double (17-25 petals), borne mostly solitary bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season. Long buds.
Bushy, thornless (or almost), upright. Dark green, dense foliage.
Height of 6' 7" to 9' 10" (200 to 300 cm). Width of 3' to 7' (90 to 215 cm).
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
The name of this rose is 'G. Nabonnand '.
Often sold as "Jean Ducher".
Pierre Guillot states that 'Marquise de Querhoënt' is a probable descendant of 'Mme Damaizin', which would also make 'G. Nabonnand' a descendant. However, Pierre Guillot also states that 'G. Nabonnand' is a descendant of 'Safrano'.- see References.
