I have found this rose to be a bit of a slow grower ownroot, but very disease resistant. Flowers get damaged by wet weather. Highly recommended otherwise.

So far this rose is amazing. On its own roots, it is already around 4.5 feet tall. It really likes to throw big sprays on new canes and then the rebloom will always be single. Quick to repeat No need to spray this one either,
The blooms are all consistent in size...4 inches. The fragrance is a nice STRONG verbena smell. The only negative thing I can say about it is that it has large, sharp thorns.
The flowers are much prettier in person than those provided by the breeder.

I see you're in Georgia, wonder if it could be No Spray grown in North Florida? I don't spray my OGRs or shrubs but do all my HTs.... This has been sprayed by default but wonder if I could get away with not spraying it.

I spray some varieties, but only when I have to. It's with my group of roses that require little to no spraying at all...when I do spray it's with a peroxide mixture, or with a milk mixture.
Give it a shot, if you have to end up be it...

I like everything about this rose except it is too short for its location. It's under 30" high. It has sun, water, everything else, and the roses around it are tall. It is vigorous and a pretty good bloomer. I have other roses that shot up their first year... is this one slow to reach its height?
