From the pictures I have seen this rose is similar to chinensis spontanea, a climber. It doesn't seem like the rose mentioned in the descriptions mentioned

Are you sure it is the same rose? The powers that be at the big producers lately have been just changing their word order lately to name a new rose cultivar. For example Peach Sunblaze is a different rose than Sunblaze Peach. Argh!!!

Page 86 of Beales' catalogue gives the Varietal code as NOAla, so yes, I am sure. Different countries seem to like playing around with names. I must admit, to my ear, Coral Flower Carpet has a smoother sound to it than Flower Carpet Coral. Did you notice the same switch with Cherry Flower Carpet?
