I loved this rose and gambled on it despite the zone 6b recommendation. It did not overwinter in zone 5. Too bad! It was such a beauty last summer. I'm still considering gambling on an own root one and trying some crazy overwintering tactics because it was just a cool rose.
Was pretty, did not overwinter in zone 5a. Mine was grafted, could be that an own root would have made it. This was it's first winter and it did not even try to come back in spring. Winter wasn't too cold- but, had a severe ice storm in March.
Did not overwinter in zone 5a. It was a challenging winter with a 'once in a generation' ice storm occuring in March. This was its first winter. Don't know if I'll try another one or not. This was supposedly rated to zone 4 and was doing fine when it went dormant in fall. I had a couple zone 7 roses survive, so was disappointed that this one did not.
